The read
Borralho's wrestling and ground control give him a path to neutralize Belgaroui's heavy hands if he can close the distance safely, and his ranking reflects a deeper resume at this level.
Belgaroui's kickboxing pedigree and finishing rate make him a live threat if the fight stays standing, and he has never tasted a stoppage of his own.
A competitive test of Belgaroui's biggest step up yet.
The matchup
This is a true gatekeeper test for both men.
Borralho, the division's No. 7-ranked contender, rebounded from the first loss of his UFC career with a unanimous decision over Reinier de Ridder, while Belgaroui brings a decorated kickboxing pedigree and has never been finished in his MMA career.
The step up from middleweight gatekeeper to ranked contender is the biggest test of Belgaroui's UFC run so far.
