The Fight Brief is a free MMA site. By reading it you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: there are no accounts, nothing to buy, and nothing for you to submit.
What the information here is
We publish two different kinds of thing and it matters which is which.
Facts— records, statistics, measurements, start times, results. These are verified against primary sources before publication, and left blank when they can’t be verified. We still don’t warrant that every one is accurate or current; sources conflict, cards change, and fights get rebooked. Check anything that matters to you against the promotion’s own listing.
Opinion — style reads, matchup notes, predictions, and anything describing what kind of fight to expect. That is editorial judgement, not fact, and it is frequently wrong. Fighting is unpredictable; that is the point of it.
Odds and betting
Where we show betting odds, they are a snapshot taken from a sportsbook at a moment in time, published because the market is a useful read on a matchup. They move constantly and the numbers here will often be stale. Always check your own book before acting on anything.
Nothing on this site is betting advice, a recommendation to place any wager, or a prediction you should stake money on. We are not a sportsbook and we do not accept wagers. Gambling involves risk of loss. If gambling is a problem for you, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Fight Brief and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published here — including, specifically, any financial loss from wagers.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email editor@thefightbrief.com. Corrections are made promptly and we do not quietly rewrite history to cover an error.

The writing, design and original graphics on this site belong to The Fight Brief. You are welcome to quote us with attribution and a link. Wholesale republication is not permitted.
Fighter names, promotion names and event names are used for identification and reporting only. The Fight Brief is an independent outlet and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by the UFC, Zuffa LLC, TKO Group, or any promotion, fighter or sportsbook. If you believe something here infringes your rights, email us and we will look at it straight away.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law rules.
