The hyped newcomer got a real test instead of a highlight. Ribeiro controlled the first round, backing Tuchalov up and landing stinging shots that left visible swelling — playing spoiler exactly the way the pre-fight read warned he could early. “Tiger”
Tuchalov is an undefeated Russian light heavyweight who built his name on the UAE Warriors circuit, where he captured the promotion's title with a first-round knockout of UFC veteran Caio Machado in March 2026. Five of his six pro wins have come by knockout, with the other a first-round rear-naked choke. Fighting out of Dubai with a Dagestani wrestling pedigree behind the power, he has barely been touched as a pro. At 26, he steps straight into the UFC as one of the more hyped light heavyweight signings of the year, and this is his first walk to the Octagon.

Brendson Ribeiro
“The Gorilla”
Ribeiro fought his way out of Belem do Para, Brazil, where locals dubbed him 'the gorilla of the Amazon,' and punched his ticket to the UFC with a first-round knockout on Dana White's Contender Series in 2023. He is a finisher through and through — 16 of his 17 wins have come inside the distance, including a slick second-round kimura of previously unbeaten Diyar Nurgozhay in 2025. The flip side is durability: he arrives on a three-fight skid in which he was stopped in the first round every time. With an 81-inch reach and nothing to lose, he remains dangerous every second he is upright.
