Tatiana Suarez is a world-class wrestler and the UFC's No. 2-ranked strawweight, whose game is takedowns, top control and chokes; most of her significant strikes land on the ground. Her only career loss came in a title shot against Zhang Weili at UFC 312 after years of injury layoffs. She has since won two straight, submitting Loopy Godinez at UFC 327 in April 2026, and now finally meets fellow former title challenger Virna Jandiroba after two previous bookings between them fell through.

She came up short against Mackenzie Dern for the vacant title at UFC 321, then rebounded with a decision over Tabatha Ricci in April 2026, and now finally meets Tatiana Suarez after their fight was booked and scrapped twice before.
