The read
Chovancek's unbeaten record and even finishing mix make him a dangerous unknown in his first UFC outing, but stepping in against a black belt with UFC experience is a serious litmus test.
You will look to find this fight on the mat, where his submission résumé gives him a real finishing path, while Chovancek's own submission game means neither man is safe there either.
The matchup
This bantamweight pairing sets a perfect regional record against a tested UFC veteran.
Chovancek arrives undefeated across nine professional fights and a Unified MMA title reign, but has never faced competition at this level, while You's black belt grappling and a 3-0 UFC start before his most recent loss make him a credible gatekeeper for the newcomer.
