Alexia Thainara def. Amanda Lemos — Decision (unanimous), R3
Thainara absorbed a clean right hand from Lemos in round two that briefly left her on unsteady legs, but she recovered to pressure Lemos in the striking exchanges while mixing in the cage control and grappling that carried her first three UFC wins.
All three judges sided with Thainara, 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27. The result largely validated the pre-fight case for Thainara's grappling and pressure exploiting Lemos, though Thainara had to survive real danger on the feet rather than simply drag the fight to the mat.
She improved to 4-0 in the UFC and moved into the strawweight top 10.

The recent film is hard to ignore: Suarez and Robertson both dragged Lemos into deep water and won comfortably, and Thainara is arguably a better pure grappler than Robertson.
Expect early danger for Thainara on the feet, followed by chain wrestling into dominant positions once she closes distance. Lemos's power and 55 percent accuracy keep her live for a knockout at any moment, but her output has dipped in recent fights.
Thainara by submission or grinding decision is the most probable path, with her back-take game the biggest threat as Lemos scrambles.

Amanda Lemos is a Brazilian veteran from Belem who challenged for the strawweight title against Zhang Weili in 2023. She is one of the hardest hitters in the division, with more than half of her 15 wins coming by knockout. Now 39, she has dropped back-to-back decisions to grapplers Tatiana Suarez and Gillian Robertson, both of whom smothered her on the mat. She still owns wins over names like Mackenzie Dern, Marina Rodriguez and Iasmin Lucindo, and remains dangerous every second the fight stays standing.

“Burguesinha”
Alexia Thainara is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt riding a 12-fight win streak, with eight of her 14 wins coming by submission. She earned her UFC deal on the 2024 Contender Series, then announced herself by choking out Molly McCann in the first round of her short-notice debut. Since then she has outworked Loma Lookboonmee and Bruna Brasil with relentless takedowns and top control, going 3-0 inside the Octagon.
