Renato Moicano is a 37-year-old Brazilian lightweight and the UFC's No. 11-ranked contender, an American Top Team veteran whose 11 career submission wins make him one of the division's most dangerous grapplers. He stepped in on short notice to challenge Islam Makhachev for the title at UFC 311 in January 2025 and was submitted in the first round, then dropped a decision to Beneil Dariush before submitting Chris Duncan with a face crank in April 2026. With his planned UFC 331 rematch against Brian Ortega scrapped by an eye injury, he now headlines against surging prospect Tom Nolan.

Tom 'Big Train' Nolan is a 26-year-old Australian lightweight and the UFC's No. 13-ranked contender, a converted rugby league player out of Team Compton Training Centre who earned his contract off Dana White's Contender Series in 2023. He has won every appearance since his lone professional loss, most recently a first-round rear-naked choke of Charlie Campbell and a unanimous decision over Fares Ziam in June 2026.
