Pereira is a former two-division UFC champion at middleweight and light heavyweight, and one of the greatest kickboxers to cross into MMA. After reclaiming the 205-pound belt from Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320, he vacated it to chase a third title at heavyweight, where Ciryl Gane stopped him for the interim belt at the UFC White House card in June 2026. His future division is an open question.
