Lorenz is a 29-year-old light heavyweight out of Phoenix, Arizona, who trains at Hard Drive MMA. His first trip to the Contender Series ended in a 29-second knockout loss to since-unbeaten UFC prospect Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev in August 2025, but he rebuilt with a 24-second finish of Gabriel Thimoteo at LFA in March 2026 before getting a second chance. He made the most of it, blasting out Mahamed Aly in the first round on Dana White's Contender Series in August 2026 to finally earn his UFC contract.
