Choi is an undefeated South Korean flyweight out of Pohang who reached the UFC by winning the Road to UFC Season 3 tournament. He fights from a low, switching stance with heavy volume punching and a judo base in the clinch, and has scored knockdowns against much of his competition. He stopped Kiru Sahota in the first round of his November 2024 debut in Macau but has been inactive since, with a scheduled April 2026 bout against Andre Lima scrapped by injury.
