Diego Ferreira is a 41-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt out of Fortis MMA in Dallas who has spent more than a decade in the UFC lightweight division after arriving with an undefeated run through the regional and WSOF ranks. He owns finishes of Anthony Pettis, Michael Johnson and Mateusz Rebecki, but has dropped decisions to Beneil Dariush twice and was knocked out by Dustin Poirier in 2015. After a rough 2025 that saw him dropped by Grant Dawson on the scorecards and then knocked out by Alexander Hernandez, Ferreira turned back Billy Quarantillo on a three-round unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 120 in August 2026 to snap the skid. Every one of his seven career losses has come inside the UFC; his nine pre-UFC wins, mostly by submission and decision, came undefeated.
