He fell short in a 2024 Dana White's Contender Series appearance, losing a decision to Seok Hyeon Ko (who went on to make the UFC roster and fight there in 2025-2026), and lost a Fight Nation Championship title bid to Kamil Kraska by submission in November 2025. He erased that Contender Series heartbreak with a 98-second TKO of Oscar Ravello in September 2026 to finally earn his UFC contract.
