GrapplingStriking
Lando Vannata, 'Groovy,' is a creative, highlight-reel lightweight known for unorthodox striking -- spinning kicks, flying knees -- layered over a genuine submission game that accounts for nearly half his career wins. A long injury-interrupted layoff kept him out of the cage for three years between April 2023 and April 2026, when he returned against Darrius Flowers and was stopped in the second round. He remains on the UFC roster fighting out of Albuquerque's famed Jackson Wink/BMF Ranch camp.
