Luis Francischinelli is a 30-year-old Brazilian welterweight, born in Sao Paulo, who now fights out of California MMA in Gardena, where his coach says he arrived four years ago with little grappling experience. All seven of his professional wins have come by knockout or TKO, including a first-round finish of Will Rentz on Dana White's Contender Series that earned him his UFC contract. His only loss was a third-round rear-naked choke to Jonathan Piersma at LFA 223 in November 2025.
