The style
Preston LaGrange is a 27-year-old fighter out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa who trains at Hard Drive MMA and competes primarily at middleweight, though he earned his UFC contract by moving up to light heavyweight on short notice for Dana White's Contender Series Season 10, stopping Nell Ariano by first-round TKO in October 2026. Nicknamed 'One Shot,' he carries a 7-1 record built on finishes, with four of his seven wins coming by submission -- including back-to-back rear-naked chokes of Derek Benoit and Dylan Diebitz earlier in 2026 -- and three by knockout. His only loss came by first-round knockout to Brandon Holmes at Fury Fighting Championship 113 in January 2026. He has yet to make his official UFC debut.
