Ramiz Brahimaj

Ramiz Brahimaj is one of the most single-minded finishers at welterweight: 12 of his 13 career wins have come by submission, and he has never won a fight on the scorecards. Born in the Bronx to an Albanian family and now training in Texas, he built his reputation on a lethal front headlock game, choking out Austin Vanderford and Billy Ray Goff with guillotines in 2025. His striking is functional rather than flashy, existing mostly to create scrambles where he can attack the neck. He is coming off a decision loss to Punahele Soriano in February, the familiar pattern for a fighter who wins by finish or usually not at all.
