Nakamura is a Japanese bantamweight prospect, now training at American Top Team, whose wrestling base and quick finishes carried him to a 9-0 start before Muin Gafurov handed him a clear decision loss at UFC 311. He rebounded with a body-shot TKO of Nathan Fletcher in August 2025. He withdrew from a scheduled March 2026 bout against Luan Lacerda and has yet to be rebooked.
