The style
Smilla Sundell is a 21-year-old Swedish bantamweight who made her name as a Muay Thai prodigy, becoming the youngest ONE Championship world champion in history when she won the promotion's inaugural women's strawweight Muay Thai title at 17. She moved into MMA full-time in 2026, opening with first-round and second-round TKOs over Miranda Barber and Maya Stewart on the regional Tuff-N-Uff circuit before winning a unanimous decision over Aline Pereira on Dana White's Contender Series, with UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard overruling Dana White to award her the contract anyway. She trains out of Diaz Combat Sports after years based at Fairtex Gym and enters the UFC unbeaten at 3-0.
