Zach Reese is a Shiner, Texas middleweight who went 5-0 with first-round finishes on the Texas regional circuit before submitting Eli Aronov on Dana White's Contender Series in 2023 to earn his UFC contract. He has traded results in the Octagon ever since, alternating wins and losses across his first eight fights, with finishes on both sides of the ledger -- knockouts of Julian Marquez and a submission of Jackson McVey among his wins, knockout losses to Cody Brundage and Azamat Bekoev among his defeats. His most recent stretch has been rough: a split-decision loss to Michel Pereira in February 2026 and a first-round knockout loss to Ryan Gandra at UFC 329 in July 2026 put him on a two-fight skid. A September 2025 bout with Sedriques Dumas was ruled a no contest and does not count toward his official record. Training out of WAR Training Center, Reese remains on the UFC roster with a game built on scrambles and finishing instinct rather than a conservative points-based approach.
